Lambros været med til at starte uddannelsen i parandontologi på Aarhus Universitet, hvor han også har været leder af kæbekirurgisk afdeling. Samtidig har han udgivet en lang række videnskabelige artikler inden for sit felt og er stadig efterspurgt som forelæser.
